COACH JON CARR LEGACY – MORE THAN A GAME

At Valpo Pop Warner, we don’t just play football…we build family, character, and legacy.
This season, we proudly honor Coach Jon Carr — a coach, mentor, and friend who was taken far too soon, but whose impact will live on forever in our program and hearts. 
Coach Jon lived for practices with his boys, Football Sundays on the sideline and every moment in-between.
He stood for everything GRIT represents:

 Teamwork

 Our spring flag football players will wear “JC” on their sleeves
 Our fall tackle players will wear the JC shield on the back of their helmets
Because once a Viking… always a Viking.
And Coach Jon will always be part of this program.

The Carr family has chosen to give back in the same way Coach Jon gave so much to others.

The Coach Jon Carr Legacy Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating 8th grade athlete who was part of the Valpo Pop Warner family — recognizing leadership, resilience, and character.
