We are excited to launch our 2026 VPW Cash Raffle Fundraiser!

This is an EASY way for your athlete to lower their registration cost while supporting our program.

For fall tackle football and cheer families, they may sell raffle tickets online.
๐ŸŽŸ Ticket Prices:
โ€ข 1 Ticket = $20
โ€ข 3 Tickets = $50
โ€ข 10 Tickets = $150 (Best Value)
Each ticket purchased enters the buyer into our $5,000 Cash Giveaway drawing on May 23, 2026 (live on Facebook and recorded).

Winners do NOT need to be present.

๐Ÿงฎ How Your Athlete Earns Registration Credit
Your athlete earns 50% of all ticket sales sold in their name.
Example:
โ€ข Sell $200 โ†’ Earn $100 back
โ€ข Sell $400 โ†’ Earn $200 back

Maximum Credits:
โ€ข First registered child per family: Up to $200 back
โ€ข Second registered child: Up to $100 back
โ€ข Additional children: Not eligible for raffle credit

You may sell MORE than your cap โ€” but credits stop once the max is reached.

โ€ข Athletes receiving hardship assistance or corporate-sponsored registration may sell tickets but are NOT eligible to receive raffle credit.
โ€ข All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
โ€ข Credits are based on total dollar sales โ€” not number of tickets.
โ€ข Be sure buyers have your athlete's unique link from RaffleBox to make sure your athlete receives credit!

Raffle conducted by Valparaiso Pop Warner.
Winners will be selected by random drawing on May 23, 2026 and broadcast live via Facebook and recorded.
Need not be present to win.

Athlete Registration Credit Rules:
โ€ข Athletes earn 50% of ticket revenue sold in their name.
โ€ข First child eligible for up to $200 credit.
โ€ข Second child eligible for up to $100 credit.
โ€ข Hardship or corporate-sponsored athletes are not eligible to receive raffle credit.
โ€ข Credits capped at designated maximum regardless of sales volume.

Registration credits will be refunded to the original payment method used in SportConnect the week of May 25th , 2026.

๐Ÿง Frequently Asked Questions

1.  How do we sell tickets?
Share your athlete's unique raffle link with friends and family. Buyers purchase tickets online and your athlete gets credit.  All prior sales from CheddarUp have been transferred over to RaffleBox and so the buyers are entered into the raffle and the athletes get credit for prior sales.

2.  How does my athlete earn money back?
Your athlete earns 50% of total ticket sales made in their name.

Example:
If $400 in tickets are sold โ†’ Your athlete earns $200 back.

3.  What is the maximum my child can earn?
โ€ข First registered child per family: Up to $200
โ€ข Second registered child: Up to $100
โ€ข Additional children: Not eligible for raffle credit

You may sell more than the cap, but credits stop at the maximum.

4.  When do we get the money back?
Refunds will be processed the week of May 18, 2026 and returned to the original card used for registration in SportConnect.

5.  What if we used a payment plan?
Credits will be applied as a refund to your original payment method or toward your remaining balance, depending on your payment status.

6.  What if someone forgets to enter my athleteโ€™s name?
If a buyer does not enter your athleteโ€™s name correctly, VPW cannot guarantee credit will be applied. Please remind buyers to enter your athleteโ€™s full name - FIRST AND LAST at checkout.

7.  Can hardship or sponsored athletes earn money back?
No. Athletes receiving hardship assistance or corporate-sponsored registration may sell tickets, but they are not eligible to receive raffle credit. All proceeds will benefit VPW.

8.  Do buyers need to be present to win?
No. Winners will be drawn live on Facebook on May 16th on Facebook live, recorded and contacted directly.

9.  Are ticket purchases refundable?
No. All ticket purchases are final.

10.  Why are we doing this?  What happened to discount cards?
Discount cards cost the organization over $10,000 per year and frequently were not picked up and sold by families, leaving VPW with a lot of unused and unsold discount cards.  These cards were provided solely to assist families with getting money back off of their registration as we know that youth sports are costly and many of our families are multi sport families.  This fundraiser supports the increased size of our program and increased operating costs due to the size of our program:

โ€ข Equipment upgrades
โ€ข Helmet reconditioning and replacement & additional cheer mats
โ€ข New Cheer Uniforms for over 100 Cheerleaders as our current sideline uniforms are 7 years old
โ€ข Safety gear like AEDS and First Aid kits for teams
โ€ข Financial assistance to provide hardships for families in need and waive registration fees
โ€ข Coach training 
โ€ข Increased costs for field and gym facility usage, insurance, referees, security, press box and workers for chain gang for this upcoming season
โ€ขFees to participate in Pop Warner per team and for playoff teams as well as National registration fees for cheer
โ€ข Scholarships for graduating VHS Football and Cheer Seniors that were members of VPW
โ€ขAbility to offer fun events and extras - like Homecoming and our Inflatable Viking Helmet

UPDATE REGARDING TRANSITION FROM CHEDDARUP TO RAFFLEBOX

Dear Valpo Pop Warner Families,

We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding our 2026 Registration Raffle.

In accordance with requirements from the Indiana Gaming Commission and our newly obtained charitable gaming license, we are required to transition our raffle platform from CheddarUp to RaffleBox.

What This Means:

  • The CheddarUp raffle is now closed.
  • All previously purchased entries will be securely transferred to the RaffleBox platform so buyers are still entered into the raffle and athletes are still given credit.
  • You will receive an email from RaffleBox confirming your ticket entries for your records.
  • Athletes already registered will receive their unique link to sell tickets credited directly to them.  Athletes that register going forward will be provided the link upon registration.

Next Steps:

  • A new RaffleBox link will be shared for all future ticket purchases.
  • We kindly ask that you use and share this new link moving forward.

Important Dates (No Change):

  • Drawing Date: May 16, 2026
  • The drawing will be conducted live via Facebook Live and recorded.
  • Winners will be notified via email.

Registration Credit Refunds (No Change):

Families eligible for raffle-based registration reimbursements will receive refunds to their original form of payment during the week of May 18, 2026.
